ah. i'm so tired. could hardly rest coz my mum was making pineapple tarts. oh yeah their fantastic as usual. haha. n my uncle was here to fix the tap n i was 'on-call' to help him. ah well.... plus misc. errands throughout the day.
think i woke up like at 9 today, tats like 5hrs of sleep? shucks. yesterday was happening man. Zagh's bday gathering with the guys... besides makan, strangely at al dente. well host's choice. oh they had some malay rappers at outdoor theatre of esplanade. they weren't really good, their music itself was cool though.
suprisingly instead of the usual lan, pool routine. we'll went to chill at Timbre. first time at tat place n i'm loving it. live band performances, al fresco dining, n booze. not to mention some really awesome crispy pizzas that are available all night, well past meal time at least. so yea it was cool. we actually sat through 2 band performances, the 1st wasn't really good lar, frm SMU. hahaha. the 2nd one was much more up to par, well u would expect the later band to be better, coz its the more popular timeslot. so basically the ambiance was great. heh made the bday boy drink a Fire Tower. haha that was cool man. funny slurping up all the drink under fire, n just when ur about to finish, a shot of green shit is added in. hahaha... anyway for the uninitiated like me, Timbre is located behind Substation, near the old central library. check it out man...
