hey. I've started with my 1st day in NUS today. its been off with a relaxing note, because there are no tutorials or labs yet, just plain old lectures which are mostly introductory. so yar just sit and listen and get bored to death. I had 2 lectures back 2 back today, so had to rush from engine faculty to arts faculty. First lecture was Statics n Mechanics, boring. And realised I don't really have that many friends in my lecture group, so actually somehow ended up sitting along so funny. And some weird fella called out to me "gunfitter" and i totally don't recognise him. how pathetic. yar so after getting bored to death, I went for my jap studies module with ALess, n yanlong crashed the lecture together with us too. It was really quite interesting, i didn't expect it to be so totally about anime, that seems to be their main focus point and we are expected to do anime reviews too. yar so 2 hrs lecture, was 1 hr listening and 45mins of watching an anime! how cool! but that was one of the weirdest anime i ever watched, it really got me thinking, because its an anime about anime fans aka Otaku. It was pretty interesting, finding out how sad and existence Otakus are, but yet if or when they get famous, it really rocks. so yar , the interest that drives you beyond the social norms blah blah blah. need to think more about it.
yar anyway had a super late lunch, ate YaKun, highly inadequate but good. then then...
