hmmmm just dun get it, why always in chinese when i enter the blogger webbie, but its okay after i log in... well anyway, having quite a bit of free time on my hands these few days. was supposed to get some of my new year clothes shopping done but well was playing ps2. i bought new games! after a long 3 week break that is. hahaha.
anyway abt my trip in NZ...

Well it started of with a really long flight which sucks coz its really long. duhz. can't imagine how uncomfortable an 11hr flight can become especially when it lasted throughout the night and the inflight entertainment sucked, in which there was a screen like far away and i was sitting in the centre. well somehow i managed to watch the shows with considerable neck straining here and there. 3 full movies and stuff. yar the flight was that long. well after finally arriving, there is the 6hr bus trip to camp. *yawnz* beautiful scenery all the way along, took some photos and saw cow and sheep and horses and grassy plains and farms and more grassy plains and farms and more sheep and more cows and horses and and.... Well u get the idea, it was a boring bus trip after the first 2 hrs of enjoying the countryside. well there was the occasional McDonalds(their everywhere) and in NZ u learn they have a dark alliance with Shell station, u ahve to enter Macs through them, well good money making idea. and then they have playgrounds and stuff and errr.... yar anyway the camp was really cool when we finally reached there, they have a shop where u can buy anything and everything and a really expensive canteen but the food is top notch and the cook house was not bad too. had lotsa beef, sausages, lamp chop. even had lasagne once, damn shiok. bacon was gross as usual, just too damn salty. and every dinner there is DESSERT! and not some crummy fruits you know, i mean cakes and icecream and moouse and errr oh jelly! and fresh cream and puffs and wah
its just damnn shiok. even have dessert sometimes during lunch. yeh well fat fat.
anyway training went rather well, only 3 deployment sites, which get higher and higher, reaching a final high altitude of 1200m, can imagine how cold it got up there at night. it got to like 5-6 degrees. horrible i tell ya. really suffered esp in the morning when i climbed out of the sleepnig bag, shivers. yada yade, somehow i survived and got back to camp and had 2 days of slacking while waiting to go for my R&R at Auckland city! oh yeh played lotsa bridge during those 2 days, nothing to do. and i havn't played for so bloody long. hehz oh yeh auckland city, well we had a 1 day tour slowly making our way there, many pit-stops as part of the tour of course. yar okay the waterfalls was well nothing much, looked more like rapids, then there was the sheepshow, cute but the sheep dun go meh meh at all, i suspect they cut off all their tongues for the show. hmmm. and there was the gondala ride to this amusement park like thingy where we had a LUGE RIDE!! i later found out a real luge ride has to do with snow and sliding down a tunnel of snow. but well it wasn't nearly as excilirating as that. it was not snowy, a downhill track on these little go-kart like thingies. anyway when straight for the advanced course and it was damn fast and fun. haha all the bends to negotiate, got really freaked out when i saw an overturned luge and helmet lying in the middle of the track and then my arms were getting tired frm holdring the steering and i couldn't see the end of the line. sheesh, but so goddamn fun!
yar so finally free and easy at auckland but for only 1 day!!! oh yar did i say we stayed at hotels and my room is damn shiok? hahaha damn i didn't take pics coz it was really cool, 1st floor and had the sliding door that opens to the lawn which is like connected to other rooms. i could like jsut visit other pple and walk arnd hahaha. anyway went shopping first, victoria park market was rather errr interesting. then on the main streets and then went sky city. the casino! lost money, shit. didn't believe in bad luck, now i know better. haha. oh yeh and there was the strip clubs. now that was very interesting. *censored* but well it was just a club anyway. after that still had to go back hotel before 2359 to rest. but bought drinks back instead to play somemore. haha. alcohol is cheap there man.... abt the same price as mineral water. hahaha damn shiok. my fren who won money at the casino treated us to some, he bought 12 cans for 8pple, which only 5 of us drank. so yeh. drank 2 cans plus a bottle of white russian i bought myself. well white russian is basically ice coffee with vodka in it, real nice. and the cas which were supposed to be beer was actually vodka. hahaha, so sweet and nice too. heh. well i wld still drink it if it was beer. coz their beer is very smooth and nice too. mmhmmm
